Writing Goals:

The purpose of this group is to create a network of writers/authors at all skill and experience levels who support one another, who want to grow in their craft, who willingly share information, insights, knowledge, tips, advice, and gentle critiques; who will be willing to mentor young or new writers and encourage those with writer’s block. There is no mandatory attendance at our once a month meeting. Meetings will be conducted informally so that everyone can contribute something. Fun writing assignments. To host one local author fair annually if possible. Members will be added as authors to the WhipCity Wordsmiths blog which will be how we can also keep up with the group and what’s going on if unable to attend meetings (you would need to have a gmail account to post, otherwise you’d have to email posts to Sue or Kelly to be added to the blog.) Kelly will also create member biographies with hyperlinks to your author pages if you give her the information. There is also a Facebook group for members. Every member gets a membership card.
